About this effect

What happens
in your video.

You sit on a sofa beside a glowing Christmas tree and smile at the camera. A gloved hand taps your shoulder; you turn to see Santa leaning in and cover your mouth in surprise. Santa wraps an arm around your shoulders for a side hug, and you lean in, burst into laughter and look back at the lens with happy disbelief.

The quiet Christmas portrait becomes a visit from the guest everyone was waiting for. Share the hug with a friend who loves Santa, a family member across the miles or someone who could use a cheerful holiday surprise.

The sample features an AI generated fictional adult woman. Upload one clear front facing or half body photo of a consenting adult with their face visible. Facial likeness, Santa details, the embrace and scene timing can vary in your result.

Works best

  • One adult, face clearly visible
  • Soft, even light on the face
  • Selfie or framing from the waist up

Avoid

  • Sunglasses, masks or hands over the face
  • Group photos or tiny faces
  • Photos of children
