About this effect

What happens
in your video.

An everyday room becomes a cozy candlelit setting with red roses, and a plain red envelope sealed with a wax heart appears in the hands. The outfit changes to a dark sweater.

The person opens the envelope and red and pink paper hearts burst out and float up. The hearts pass briefly in front of the face before the person looks up and smiles.

A photo from the chest up works best so the envelope, held low, still fits in the frame below your face. The sample features an AI generated fictional adult man.

Works best

  • One adult, face clearly visible
  • Soft, even light on the face
  • Selfie or framing from the waist up

Avoid

  • Sunglasses, masks or hands over the face
  • Group photos or tiny faces
  • Photos of children

Your turn

Make the scene yours.

A clear selfie or a photo from the waist up of one consenting adult works best.

Good to know

A little clarity
before you create.

Does the letter contain a written message?

No. The envelope and paper stay blank. Add your own message when you send the video.

Do the hearts cover my face?

For about half a second as they burst out of the envelope; after that the face is clear for the final smile.

Is the envelope sealed with a real wax seal brand?

No. It is a plain red envelope with a simple heart shaped wax seal and no writing.

Who is this effect for?

Anyone sending a Valentine message. It also works for anniversaries or a simple "thinking of you".
