About this effect

What happens
in your video.

A familiar portrait becomes a cozy birthday scene with balloons and warm string lights. A cake with lit candles appears in front of the person as the everyday outfit changes into party clothes.

The person closes their eyes for a wish, blows out the candles and smiles as confetti falls. Wisps of smoke rise from the extinguished candles, keeping the cake and the face at the center of the celebration.

Leave a little space below your chin in the photo; the cake appears at chest height and needs room in the frame. The sample features an AI generated fictional adult woman.

Works best

  • One adult, face clearly visible
  • Soft, even light on the face
  • Selfie or framing from the waist up

Avoid

  • Sunglasses, masks or hands over the face
  • Group photos or tiny faces
  • Photos of children
